Dean Chalkley keeps the faith
We are all really looking forward to seeing Dean Chalkley‘s new short, Young Souls, about the Northern Soul scene. If the teaser is anything to go by, it’s going to be beautifully shot with some blinding music and style in bucket loads. The premiere is at Bethnal Green Working Mens Club in London on Thursday 14 July from 7pm. RSVP youngsouls@deanchalkley.com if you fancy going.
There’s also a photographic exhibition (plus another chance to see the Young Souls short) at the Youth Club Gallery, 2.1 Kingly Court, Carnaby Street, London, W1B 5PW, from 22 July until 4 August with the private view on 21 July, 6pm ’til late. RSVP tas@youthclublondon.com if you like the sound of this. Fill your boots, it’s going to be super.

Absolute delight
Fantastic foodie publishers, Absolute Press, asked us to design and build a new web site that really showed off their wonderful books to their full potential. Absolute MD, John Croft seemed happy: “It has has been universally admired. It really is small masterpiece.” Nice.

We’re in the background
We’ve just finished the design and production of banners and large format graphics for Triodos Bank’s AGM in London this year. On a separate note, Triodos move UK head office, later this year, to Bristol city centre; it’s an eco build on a grand scale and we’ve been asked to look at way finding graphics as well as branding the exterior. Exciting times…
